Have you ever broken a bone? If not, what's the worst injury you've sustained?
Many, many. I've mentioned this somewhere before.
1. My elbow from when I decided I could jump down a flight of stairs. Age 11.
2. My toe from playing ze futballs in ze rain. Age 19.
3. Four ribs from crashing my bike two years ago. Age 24. I guess this would be the worst cause I haven't bought a replacement yet and don't know if I will. Kinda traumatized 'cause the accident happened due to my accelerator cable and brake cables snapping.
And many more breaks to come for I will keep doing stupid things whenever I feel the inclination.
What question do you hate being asked?
Two actually.
"So how much do you earn?" (This is not considered a rude question by most people I meet)
"When are you settling down?" (Settling down onto what?)
What have you been putting off all weekend?
Talking to the nice mutual fund lady. Ballacks! She's texting me...
How did/do you spend your summer vacations?
I'm sorry. I don't understand the question.
Every new "Today" seems more anxious than ever. Do you find more solace in "Yesterday" or "Tomorrow"? Why?
Submitted by Bee Whisperer.
With no hesitation--Tomorrow!!! I love tomorrows. They're especially good for procrastinating with (why does that sound dirty to me?).
Who was the meanest teacher you had in school?
Well, my chemistry teacher did tell me I'd never amount to anything... she got fired that year, though.
Whose memoirs would you most like to read?
La Belle Otero, dancer, actress and courtesan from the early 20th century. We share a birthday. That's just a fun fact (for me) and not why I want to read her memoirs. Took this pic off Wikipedia. Unfortunately, I don't think she's written any memoirs or if she has, I don't think they were published. But if anyone unearths them, your reader is sitting right here.
What personality trait has gotten you in the most trouble?
Other people might called it "stubbornness", but I prefer to call it my "rock solid persistence". It actually works both ways with me. When stuff goes wrong, it goes really wrong. But thanks to my "rock solid persistence" there are also many times I get to make the "I told you so" face. And that's so worth it. Tee hee.
What one common food item do you refuse to eat?
Shrimp cocktail.
Overdosed on it when I was about 12.
It wasn't pretty.
Cannot look it in the face.
If you could change one thing about your physical appearance, what would it be?
I'd change my fingers. I'm 26 years old and my hands look like they belong to a five-year-old. Short, stumpy - and as my sister says, pudgy - fingers. Oh, to have them be long and graceful....
